Frederick Lynther, 68, a resident of the 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City, IA passed away Thursday (May 22, 2008) at the Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City. Cremation has taken place in the care of Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home. Graveside committal inurnment services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday (May 28, 2008) at Riverside Cemetery, 59 Riverside Dr. in Charles City, with Rev. Dennis Niezwaag officiating. Inurnment will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Charles City, IA. Those wishing to extend memorials or expressions of sympathy may direct the 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home, 602 11th St., Charles City, IA, 50616.Fred was born January 25, 1930 in Clayton County, IA the son of Mrs. Pearl (Hines) Lynther. Fred resided in several care facilities throughout his lifetime and captured the hearts of many people that worked with him. Fred enjoyed making stocking caps out of a small loom as well as braiding rugs. Fred will be greatly missed by residents and staff at the 11th Street Chautauqua Nursing Home, where he currently resided.
