Holly Hamm

Holly Hamm, 34, of Floyd, died Monday, August 25, 2008, at the Nora Springs Care Center in Nora Springs.

Funeral services for Holly Hamm will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Chaplain Jim Allan will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday.

Holly Rose Marie Trainer Hamm was born January 3, 1974, at Brunswick, Maine, the daughter of Tom Trainer and Toni Moravec. She graduated from the Charles City High School. On July 21, 2008, Holly was baptized along with a blessing on the union relationship between her and Marty DeVries. Her interests included drawing, painting, riding motorcycles, working on cars, taking road trips, the mountains and the oceans. She especially loved her animals and talking on the phone to her mother and kids.

Living family members include her significant other, Marty DeVries of Floyd; three children, Lindsay, Robert and Justin Trainer all of Charles City; mother, Toni (David) Williams of Maine; Father, Tom Trainer of Charles City; three brothers, Darrin Shave of Mason City, Corey (Nichole) Trainer of Scylar, Nebr. and Todd (Sheila) Trainer of Scylar, Nebr.; paternal grandmother, Erma Kay Trainer of Manchester; and seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; and her paternal grandfather.
