Mary Ann Knudsen

Mary Ann Knudsen, 51, of Rockford, died Thursday, December 4, 2008, at the 9th St. Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City, IA.
A funeral Mass for Mary Ann Knudsen will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City. The Reverend Carl Ries will celebrate the Mass. Inurnment will be at a later date in Pierce, Minn.
The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the church on Saturday.
Mary Ann Virnig Knudsen was born November 26, 1957, in Cook County, Ill., the daughter of Morris and Lorraine (Immel) Virnig. She attended St. James Parochial School in Arlington Heights, Ill. Mary later attended public school in Bayfield, Wis. and Wisconsin State School in Sparta, Wis. Later in Mary's life she moved to Rockford, where she lived and enjoyed life with her significant other, William Graham. Mary enjoyed doing different types of crafts, shopping and going fishing with William.
Living family members include her father, Morris Virnig of Owensboro, Ky.; daughter, Mariah Ohlendorf; son, William Knudsen; granddaughter, Alexiuz Ohlendorf; her brother, Richard Virnig of Spring, Tex.;her significant other, William Graham of Rockford; his chidren, Shawn, Zachery and Kristina Graham;his mother, Connie Graham of Rockford; his grandmother, Minnie Graham of Charles City; his brother, Robert (Cindy) Graham of Rockford and their children, Lacey and Kaleb Graham; a special
friend, Mona Kellogg of Rockford; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine in 1992.
