Maxine Pattschull

Maxine Pattschull, 83, of Charles City, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
Memorial services for Maxine Pattschull will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Dennis Niezwaag of the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.
The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service.
Maxine Ivadelle Freiberg Pattschull was born February 10, 1927, at Charles City, the daughter of Carl and Sylvia (Erion) Freiberg. She was raised by her aunt and uncle Elsie and Dale Stewart. Maxine graduated from the Charles City High School in 1945. On February 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Everett Pattschull at the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City. They farmed southwest of Charles City. Maxine also worked at Salsbury Laboratories and for several years at Northwestern Bell. Her interests included traveling, playing cards and bargain shopping. She always looked forward to sharing her life with her family and friends.
Living family members include her husband, Everett Pattschull of Charles City, three children, Kathy (Douglas) Franke, Debra (James) Mehmen both of Charles City and Tracy (Janice) Pattschull of Greene; seven grandchildren, Bridgette (Bryan) Quade, Brandon (Lindsey) Franke, Heather, Shane and Ashly Mehmen, Toya (Jeff) Heideman and Cody Pattschull; six great grandchildren; a sister, Mavis (Clem) Kilby of Charles City; three half sisters, Patty (Lyle) Bunston of Goldfield and Jean (Roger) Duffield and Carmen (Keith) Angell both of Charles City; and two half brothers, William (Sharon) Freiberg of Charles City and William (Mavis) Severson of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two half sisters, Bonnie Severson and Joan Schneider.
