Hilda R. Bullerman

CHARLES CITY, Iowa - Hilda R. Bullerman, 86, of Charles City, died Sunday, September 9, 2007, at the Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

A funeral Mass for Hilda Bullerman will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City. The Reverend Carl Ries will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the Mass at the church on Wednesday.

Hilda Rose (Ott) Bullerman was born August 2, 1921 at St. Lucas, the daughter of Bob and Helen (Hackman) Ott. On May 28, 1940 she was united in marriage to Victor Bullerman at St. Lucas. She was employed for 18 years at Jensen Locker and at the Charles City Community Schools. After retirement she was a foster grandparent for 10 years. Hilda was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Immaculate Conception Rosary Society. Her interests included sewing, playing cards, yard work, repairing household objects, and spending time with her family.

Living family members include her son, Duane (Becky) Bullerman of Denver, Ia.; two daughters, Delores Dostart of Cave Spring, Ga., and Debra Bullerman of Charles City; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren; her sister, Hermina Koudelka of Cresco; her brother, Dale Ott of Festina; two sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor on November 13, 1970; two sisters; and five brothers.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family or to Hospice of North Iowa, Inpatient Unit, 232 2nd St. S.E., Mason City, IA 50401.
